Royal Oak, Mich.—July 13, 2023—Employee benefits and ERISA law firm J.J. Conway Law is
pleased to announce that principal attorney, founder and litigator John Joseph (J.J.) Conway
has been selected for inclusion on Michigan’s Leading Lawyers list for 2023 in the category of
Employee Benefits. This honor is bestowed on fewer than 5% of Michigan’s licensed attorneys.
A nationally recognized trial attorney, Conway has navigated the legal complexities of disability,
employee health benefits, and ERISA law for the past 24 years. Establishing his practice on the
principle of helping people secure the employee benefits rightfully owed to them, Conway is a
seasoned litigator, successfully fighting to recover more than $65 million for his clients and
winning landmark class-action lawsuits in favor of families and retirees.
Leading Lawyers, a division of the Law Bulletin Publishing Company, surveys thousands of
attorneys statewide to identify lawyers most often recommended by their peers. Lawyers cannot
nominate themselves or anyone at their own law firm. Fewer than 5% of all lawyers licensed to
practice law in a given state can be named a Leading Lawyer.
In August, Michigan’s 2023 Leading Lawyers will be highlighted in a special advertising section
in DBusiness magazine’s Detroit 500 Most Powerful Leaders issue—which comprises a
comprehensive list of the most powerful executives in more than 30 industries across metro
Detroit and Michigan.
